Do You Have A Reason To Hate Jesus Christ?

After all what Jesus Christ has done for mankind; dying for their sins and offering them everlasting life with Him in Heaven in exchange for being lost in the eternal damnation of Hell, so many are rejecting, blaming, and hating Him for no apparent reason. How can that be, you would think? Even Jesus himself said it:

They hated me without cause. John 15:25 NLT

What would be your reason for rejecting and hating Jesus Christ?

Is it because of the Catholic Church and its priests who have been abusing young boys sexually over the years? No! Jesus has nothing to do with that!

Is it because of the organized religions and cults, like the Orthodox Jews, the Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, to name a few, that puts a bunch of rules and regulations on people in order to keep them under their control? No! Jesus has absolutely nothing to do with that either!

If it is because of the Muslim faith and their prophet Mohammed, Jesus has ZERO to do with that!

Is it because you have lost a loved one? Although Jesus understands what you go through, He is not to blame for it!

Or, is it because of the hypocrisy of many Christians in the Evangelical and Charismatic churches who lie, cheat, backstab, commit adultery, are homosexuals, drink, smoke, live double lives, and gossip? No, no! Jesus has nothing to do with people living these kinds of lifestyles! They are not His representatives!

Is it because nothing happened after a prosperity preacher promised you that you would become wealthy and healed within 90 days if you tithed and sowed a $1000 breakthrough seed into his ministry? Well, Jesus has nothing to do with false preachers who are making money out of the Gospel, by teaching that you have to pay to receive God's blessings. That is NOT coming from Jesus at all!

Or, is it because of the televangelists who are constantly begging for money? Never in a million years would Jesus want us to do that!

Do you harbor a grudge against Jesus because you are not looking attractive, do not have a partner, or you are not able to get a child? No, Jesus is not to blame for your disappointments or inabilities! He is merciful, graceful, kind, and very loving!

Are you blaming and hating Jesus for losing your job, your savings, your marriage, your house, and friends? No, it is not His fault! You cannot come and play Monday morning quarterback, blaming Jesus for everything that went wrong in your life, after you yourself have lived to make your own decisions without being willing to involve Him in any of them!

Are you so angry with Jesus that you now hate Him for not giving you the ministry position or promotion at work that you think you deserve? No, Jesus is not to blame for this kind of attitude!

Is it because you feel entitled or have the right to have what you want and you are not getting it? No! Jesus is not in the business of rewarding selfish people!

Or, maybe you secretly hate and blame Jesus for Harold Camping's and others false predictions of the end of the world? This is not Jesus' fault! He himself does not know the exact date, only the Father!

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for rejecting and hating Jesus Christ! Why? Because Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost. (See Luke 19:10)

For Jesus did not come to be served but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many. (See Mark 10:45)

The purpose of Jesus is, that He came to destroy the works of the devil and give people a rich and satisfying life. (See 1. John 3:8 and John 10:10)

You are my friends if you do what I command, Jesus said. (See John 15:14)

Jesus Christ does not deserve to be rejected or hated, because He did nothing wrong to anybody, but ONLY GOOD!!!

As matter of fact, Jesus is saying right now to whoever wants to hear:
Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. Matthew 11:28-30 NLT
