Beautiful Women Are Awesome! (April 13, 2013)

Women in general wants to look good, attractive, and sexy. They are very concerned about their weight and figure, breast size, teeth, hairstyle, make-up, having beautiful expensive clothing, shoes, and jewelry. They like to draw attention to themselves, and loves it when others, and especially men, give them compliments, saying they look good and beautiful.
Several times it happened that when my wife and I go to the store with our baby, women spontaneously ask me if my wife is indeed the mother, and when I say, “Yes!” they respond, “WOW! She looks so thin and so beautiful for a mother who just had a baby! You guys are a beautiful couple!” My wife always takes the opportunity to thank these women for the compliment and share with them who truly makes her beautiful.
I am obviously very biased when I say that my wife is an awesome beautiful woman. But she is indeed beautiful from the inside, and beautiful from the outside. She is the kind of woman that the Bible speaks about, who is modest in her appearance and wear decent and appropriate clothing and she does not draw attention to herself by the way she fixes her hair, wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothing. She is the type of woman who is devoted to God and makes herself attractive by the good things she does. (See 1. Timothy 2:9-10)
She is not concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. She clothes herself instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. (See 1. Peter 3:3-4)
Here are other ways married Christian women can make themselves attractive and beautiful:
First of all, by not being a loudmouthed woman, trying to win arguments with her husband in the battle of words, but instead behaving godly in a gentle and quiet spirit, that will cause her to win her husband over, as he watches her behavior. (See 1. Peter 3:1-4)
By acknowledging that her husband is her head, as Christ is the head of His body, the church, to whom He gave His life to be her Savior. As the church submits to Christ, so the wife must submit to her husband in everything. (See Ephesians 5:23-24)
By respecting her husband. (See Ephesians 5:33)
By enriching her husband’s life, bringing him good and not harm, all the days of his life. (See Proverbs 31:11-12)
By not speaking evil of others, but exercising self-control and being faithful in everything she does. (See 1. Timothy3:11)
By not teaching men or have authority over them. (See 1. Timothy 2:11-12)
By not being a nagging, contentious, and complaining wife, who saps the strength of her husband. (See Proverbs 12:4, 19:13, 21:9, 21:19, 25:24 and 27:15-16)
By not depriving her husband from sexual intimacy. (See 1. Corinthians 7:3)
Yes, she should be known for “the beauty that comes from within” and that is awesome! (1. Peter 3:4 NLT)
This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands. For instance, Sarah obeyed her husband, Abraham, and called him her master. You are her daughters when you do what is right without fear of what your husbands might do. 1. Peter 3:5-6 NLT
