The Devil Loves For You To Love Alcohol! (April 29, 2013)

The Devil knows all too well that drinking alcohol will eventually ruin your life and that of others, so he loves for you to love it, and therefore he invites you to have another drink!

Over the years, I have heard countless of testimonies about the devastating effects of alcohol. Here is one of those stories:

I grew up in a Christian home of five children where my father was a deacon in the church and an alcoholic. When he got drunk he became very abusive toward my mother and us. He often yelled profanities, screamed, and hit my mother. He also punished us for nothing by slapping and pushing us around. One day I saw him choking my mother in the kitchen, which was a very traumatic experience for me. Till this day, I keep seeing these images in front of me. We all feared my father greatly, and constantly had to walk on eggshells to not get him angry. My mother tried as hard as she could to comfort us, but she was very afraid to talk to anybody about what my father was doing to her and the children. My oldest brother was very angry with my father and often told my mother to leave him, but she kept saying that God might change him one day. This made me think that God must hate us for allowing all this to happen to us. I built an enormous resentment and hatred toward God in my heart.
After graduating from high school I left home to go to college, which was a great relief for me.
In college I struggled daily with feelings of hurt and loneliness. I started experimenting with drinking wine and beer since most of my college friends loved to drink alcohol. The more I drank, the more free I felt from the pain of my upbringing. I became addicted. During my second year in college I was discovered to become a fashion model, and I decided to leave school and move to New York City. I started getting high paid modeling jobs, but at the same time my life was spiraling out of control. I was now addicted to drinking hard liquor. I was going to wild parties almost every night where drugs and alcohol were flowing freely. I was promiscuous; having sex with men and women, often total strangers. Even though I felt dirty and used, it kind of gave me a sense of belonging, feeling wanted and accepted, something I desperately missed growing up.
One day on one of my modeling trips I was caught driving under the influence, which caused me to be incarcerated. It happened again a second time, and this time I almost hit a pedestrian. I squandered much of my money on lawyers and fees to bail me out. Even so, I kept drinking and partying in clubs till the morning hours, and often found myself in the midst of brawls and fights of intoxicated men who wanted to have me, and saw me as their trophy. When family members and friends would confront me for my excessive drinking, I justified it by saying things like; Jesus turned water into wine, so it is perfectly okay to drink… I only drink occasionally and socially… I only drink one glass of wine before going to bed… and so on. I would say anything to get them of my back. Soon I found myself in deep financial trouble because my modeling agency wasn't booking any work for me. They became apprehensive to do anything for me because of me being a drunkard and living an erratic lifestyle. I was becoming more and more depressed, and by now I was drinking all day long.
Due to a court order in connection to one of the DUI tickets I received, I was forced to go into rehab, which turned out to be my salvation.
In the beginning it was very difficult being in rehab, especially when I was going through the withdrawal phase. It was during this time I heard myself singing a song my mother taught me when I was a little girl; “Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” I broke down weeping and could not stop crying for many hours, and suddenly I realized that the craving I had for alcohol was gone! I screamed: Jesus I love you, I want you, forgive me, help me, I need you!!!
It was a miracle, I was free! I was able forgive my father for hurting me, and forgive my mother for not being there for me and for allowing my father to abuse me.
As of this day I still have a long ways to go, but God in His loving grace is healing and restoring me every day, bit by bit!

The above story is precisely the reason why the Bible warns us against the consequences of a lifestyle of consuming alcohol and getting drunk!

Come,” they say, “let’s get some wine and have a party.
Let’s all get drunk.
Then tomorrow we’ll do it again
and have an even bigger party!” Isaiah 56:12 NLT

Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those led astray by drink cannot be wise. Proverbs 20:1 NLT

It is not for kings, O Lemuel, to guzzle wine. Rulers should not crave alcohol. For if they drink, they may forget the law
and not give justice to the oppressed. Alcohol is for the dying,
and wine for those in bitter distress. Let them drink to forget their poverty
and remember their troubles no more. Proverbs 31:4-7 NLT

What sorrow for those who get up early in the morning
looking for a drink of alcohol
and spend long evenings drinking wine
to make themselves flaming drunk.
They furnish wine and lovely music at their grand parties—
lyre and harp, tambourine and flute—
but they never think about the Lord
or notice what he is doing. Isaiah 5:11-12 NLT

What sorrow for those who are heroes at drinking wine
and boast about all the alcohol they can hold. Isaiah 5:22 NLT

Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. Romans 13:13 NLT

When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21 NLT

Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Ephesians 5:18 NLT

Night is the time when people sleep and drinkers get drunk. But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.1. Thessalonians 5:7-8 NLT

You have had enough in the past of the evil things that godless people enjoy—their immorality and lust, their feasting and drunkenness and wild parties, and their terrible worship of idols.
Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you. 1. Peter 4:3-4 NLT

Jezebel Says Hi! (April 24, 2013)

Hello everyone!

I hate to say it, but I am the woman whom Jesus Christ is speaking about in the Bible book of Revelations chapter 2, verses 18 to 29.

You can find me on every level of society, like in the entertainment industry, education, business, political world, and on my favorite stomping ground; the Church!

My modus operandi, or M.O. if you will, is for people to see me, like me, want me, need me, adore me, sympathize with me, worship and idolize me. Actually, what I really want is to have power and control over people, and I will do whatever it takes to get it. I will manipulate to get my way, using sensuality, arguing, yelling, screaming, crying, silent treatments, bearing false witness, accusations, spreading rumors and gossip, you name it, I do it!

One thing you need know about me is that I do not like men or anybody, for that matter, telling me what to do or have any authority over me. The notion that the Bible teaches that women need to submit to their husbands is to me totally ludicrous, old fashioned, and narrow-minded. Women are entitled to stand up for their own rights. I just hate men who thinks they need to lead their wives just because the Bible says they are so-called “the head of their wives”! That's why I take charge over men and make them understand that I am also spiritual and perfectly capable of speaking on behalf of God as a prophetess myself. I teach the men and women about “deeper truths,” things that God only reveals to me and they listen to me and follow my instructions. I like that! I am getting the attention I rightfully deserve!

If anyone is coming against me, like what sometimes happens with these so-called prophets of God, who tells me that I am rebellious and need to repent from my immoral behavior, I immediately retaliate! I absolutely hate it when anybody offends me or try to expose me for doing evil. How dare they! I have never done anything wrong! I will make every effort to eliminate those who resist me. I will persecute them, destroy their marriage, business, ministry, reputation, and relationships. I also hate those whom the Bible says did not follow my teachings. That is why I encourage women like me to marry anointed men of God, with the intention to hinder and derail their ministry and calling of God. Many of these men will end up committing adultery, and that is exactly what I want, because in doing so, these men won't be able, or have the power, to come against me. They will become easy prey for women like me to further control and destroy their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and make them obey us to do whatever we want!

Brazenly yours,
Jezebel

Jesus Christ's Rebuttal To Jezebel
What jezebel conveniently won't tell you is that Jesus Christ also said in that same chapter:

I will throw her on a bed of suffering, and those who commit adultery with her will suffer greatly unless they repent and turn away from her evil deeds. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person. And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve.
But I also have a message for the rest of you in Thyatira who have not followed this false teaching (‘deeper truths,’ as they call them—depths of Satan, actually). I will ask nothing more of you except that you hold tightly to what you have until I come. To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, to them I will give authority over all the nations. They will rule the nations with an iron rod
and smash them like clay pots. They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star! Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Revelations 2:22-29 NLT

Do You Have A Reason To Hate Jesus Christ?

After all what Jesus Christ has done for mankind; dying for their sins and offering them everlasting life with Him in Heaven in exchange for being lost in the eternal damnation of Hell, so many are rejecting, blaming, and hating Him for no apparent reason. How can that be, you would think? Even Jesus himself said it:

They hated me without cause. John 15:25 NLT

What would be your reason for rejecting and hating Jesus Christ?

Is it because of the Catholic Church and its priests who have been abusing young boys sexually over the years? No! Jesus has nothing to do with that!

Is it because of the organized religions and cults, like the Orthodox Jews, the Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, to name a few, that puts a bunch of rules and regulations on people in order to keep them under their control? No! Jesus has absolutely nothing to do with that either!

If it is because of the Muslim faith and their prophet Mohammed, Jesus has ZERO to do with that!

Is it because you have lost a loved one? Although Jesus understands what you go through, He is not to blame for it!

Or, is it because of the hypocrisy of many Christians in the Evangelical and Charismatic churches who lie, cheat, backstab, commit adultery, are homosexuals, drink, smoke, live double lives, and gossip? No, no! Jesus has nothing to do with people living these kinds of lifestyles! They are not His representatives!

Is it because nothing happened after a prosperity preacher promised you that you would become wealthy and healed within 90 days if you tithed and sowed a $1000 breakthrough seed into his ministry? Well, Jesus has nothing to do with false preachers who are making money out of the Gospel, by teaching that you have to pay to receive God's blessings. That is NOT coming from Jesus at all!

Or, is it because of the televangelists who are constantly begging for money? Never in a million years would Jesus want us to do that!

Do you harbor a grudge against Jesus because you are not looking attractive, do not have a partner, or you are not able to get a child? No, Jesus is not to blame for your disappointments or inabilities! He is merciful, graceful, kind, and very loving!

Are you blaming and hating Jesus for losing your job, your savings, your marriage, your house, and friends? No, it is not His fault! You cannot come and play Monday morning quarterback, blaming Jesus for everything that went wrong in your life, after you yourself have lived to make your own decisions without being willing to involve Him in any of them!

Are you so angry with Jesus that you now hate Him for not giving you the ministry position or promotion at work that you think you deserve? No, Jesus is not to blame for this kind of attitude!

Is it because you feel entitled or have the right to have what you want and you are not getting it? No! Jesus is not in the business of rewarding selfish people!

Or, maybe you secretly hate and blame Jesus for Harold Camping's and others false predictions of the end of the world? This is not Jesus' fault! He himself does not know the exact date, only the Father!

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for rejecting and hating Jesus Christ! Why? Because Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost. (See Luke 19:10)

For Jesus did not come to be served but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many. (See Mark 10:45)

The purpose of Jesus is, that He came to destroy the works of the devil and give people a rich and satisfying life. (See 1. John 3:8 and John 10:10)

You are my friends if you do what I command, Jesus said. (See John 15:14)

Jesus Christ does not deserve to be rejected or hated, because He did nothing wrong to anybody, but ONLY GOOD!!!

As matter of fact, Jesus is saying right now to whoever wants to hear:
Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. Matthew 11:28-30 NLT

Broken And Wounded Society (April 20, 2013)

We are living in an increasingly sinful society which makes it habit of breaking every godly moral. It is no wonder it is a society of broken marriages and relationships which produces wounded and broken people, who in turn continue the cycle of producing more damaged people. We can see them all around us, outside and inside the church. The homosexual lifestyle and gay marriage has now been widely accepted in this society as the norm. This society thinks it is foolishness to acknowledge God and thinks it knows it all better than its Creator, and because of this, God has abandoned this society to its shameful desires and foolish thinking;

That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, He abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. Romans 1:26-32 NLT

This is also a sign that we are living in the last days before the return of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, who said it will be just like in the days of Noah and the days of Lot who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah, cities that were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion, including homosexuality.

When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.
And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building— until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
Luke 17:26-30 NLT

Furthermore, the Bible says that we should know that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
They are the kind who work their way into people’s homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. (Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth.) These teachers oppose the truth just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses. They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as with Jannes and Jambres. (2. Timothy 3:6-9 NLT)

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead. 1. Timothy 4:1-2 NLT

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. 2. Timothy 4:3-4 NLT

This is happening left and right in the Christian Church, where greedy prosperity teachers and pastors are deceiving millions by making them chase after the myth of becoming wealthy if they only sow financial seeds and faithfully pay tithes to their churches and ministries. These prosperity teachers are the source of the wounding, financially wrecking, and breaking of countless lives through their false teachings and the fleecing of the flock.

Also, many false teachers in the church nowadays tell the people the myth that God gave them the freedom to do whatever they feel and want, and that everyone will go to heaven because God is graceful and will not send anybody to hell.
But the Bible clearly states that as a Christian believer you are called to live in freedom from sin, and not using your freedom to do what you want or to satisfy your sinful nature.

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Galatians 5:13 NLT

The abundance of the sinful nature is what is being displayed on every level in this society, which includes: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21 NLT)

Whether you call yourself a Christian or not, anybody who is living the above mentioned lifestyle will not go to Heaven, but will go to Hell!

Jesus made it unequivocally clear that there is a hell when He said this:

So if your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It’s better to enter eternal life with only one hand or one foot than to be thrown into eternal fire with both of your hands and feet. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It’s better to enter eternal life with only one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell. Matthew 18:8-9 NLT

The devil, who is the master of wounding and damaging people, is working hard in these last days stealing and killing and destroying this society (see John 10:10), making it believe and say that evil is good and good is evil. (See Isaiah 5:20)

But Jesus Christ who shed his blood and died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead, is still going around doing good and seeking to heal all who are oppressed, wounded, and broken by the devil in this sinful society! (See Acts 10:38)

The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. As the Scriptures say, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.”
So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish. Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom. So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense. But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength. 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 NLT

The Prosperity Preacher Has Only One Thing On His Mind (April 17, 2013)

The Prosperity Preacher Has Only One Thing On His Mind

The only thing the prosperity preacher has on his mind is, you guessed it: MONEY!!! All his sermons are geared up for it, as he (mis)-uses scriptures to promise you financial blessings and wealth in return for giving tithes and sowing seeds into his ministry. All he thinks about is how he can make the most profit out of the sales of his books, DVD's, CD's, conferences, and seminars, and will even charge you a non-refundable fee for signing up. He often guilt-trips you by saying that your money is needed, because you as a Christian have the responsibility to keep his ministry afloat, that reaches out to millions of souls in the world.

This is a serious epidemic in the body of Christ! Black or white, whether they are called a prosperity preacher or not, they are all doing it!!!

We should never allow ourselves to be fooled by these slick, smooth talking, often neck jerking, false, greedy prosperity teachers, no matter how popular they are. Never allow yourself to be fooled by the fact that they so-called give to help the poor in third world countries.

There are so many gullible Christians who are quick to point out that by saying these things, you are judging these prosperity preachers who are doing such great work for the Lord. Really? The Bible clearly says that we have the responsibility to test everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit, whether it comes from God, and to judge those inside the church, which is the body of Christ.

Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. 1. John 4:1 NLT

but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. 1. Corinthians 5:12 NLT

Now, here is how you are supposed to test and judge these money hungry prosperity preachers who are bending and twisting the scriptures, and in doing so, deceiving and leading millions of people all around the world astray.

God seriously warns us not to add or subtract from what is written in His Word, the Bible, otherwise He will remove us from the tree of life!

And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book. Revelation 22:18-19 NLT

Contrary to what the prosperity preachers teach you, Jesus did not die to make you financially wealthy, but to save you from your sins!

And she will have a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21 NLT

Nowhere in Bible does it say that Jesus will make you financially rich when you become his follower and are a faithful tither and giver!

Furthermore, a ministry of God should never be dependent on the giving and the grace of people, but on God who builds it, provides for it, and causes it to increase.

For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God. Hebrews 3:4 NLT

For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, He will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. 2. Corinthians 9:10 NLT

Wouldn't you think that these millionaire prosperity preachers would care about your difficult financial circumstances when they say they follow Jesus Christ and love you?

We know what real love is because Jesus gave up His life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. 1. John 3:16-18 NLT

No, they are not there to help you or sow a seed in you! These prosperity preachers have one thing on their minds and that is your MONEY and how to figure out clever ways to get it from you! That's why they keep emphasizing the Old Testament law of the must tithe of 10% of your income to them, and the sowing of all sorts of seeds in exchange for financial breakthroughs. They will put fear in you by saying that if you do not tithe, you will be robbing God and be in danger of being cursed, and locusts will eat everything you possess! They will always pressure you to give the specified dollar amount on the spot, “right now!” as they say, “while the anointing is present”, “do not delay, for God is about to bless your socks off”, “go to the telephone right now, your healing is just around the corner”, “God will bless your obedience”, “don't do it tomorrow, because it won't work later”, “you have one minute left”, “quick, put it on your credit card”, and so it goes on and on.

The Bible calls these prosperity preachers rebellious people who engage in useless talk and deceive others. This is especially true of those who insist on circumcision for salvation. They must be silenced, because they are turning whole families away from the truth by their false teaching. And they do it only for money. (See Titus 1:10-11 NLT)

They are called false teachers who will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. (See 2. Peter 2:1-3 NLT)

Like Balaam, they deceive people for money. And like Korah, they perish in their rebellion. When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord’s love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you. They are like shameless shepherds who care only for themselves. Jude 1:11-12 NLT

Here are some Biblical examples of how you should handle your money as a New Testament Christian believer, and none of them includes any obligation of tithing, nor the sowing of any financial seed in exchange for a miracle!

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” 2. Corinthians 9:7-9 NLT

Now regarding your question about the money being collected for God’s people in Jerusalem. You should follow the same procedure I gave to the churches in Galatia. On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. 1. Corinthians 16:1-3 NLT

Give in proportion to what you have. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. Of course, I don’t mean your giving should make life easy for others and hard for yourselves. I only mean that there should be some equality. Right now you have plenty and can help those who are in need. Later, they will have plenty and can share with you when you need it. In this way, things will be equal. 2. Corinthians 8:11-14 NLT

And finally, every true servant of God should follow the Christ-like example of the apostle Paul who testified, saying the following:

So you can see we were not preaching with any deceit or impure motives or trickery. For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. Never once did we try to win you with flattery, as you well know. And God is our witness that we were not pretending to be your friends just to get your money! 1. Thessalonians 2:3-5 NLT

This is in contrast to the prosperity preachers who have only one thing on their minds, and that is MONEY!!!
