Deceived Women | Institute of Love

When the apostle Paul said that God made Adam first and afterwards He made Eve, and that it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan but the woman who was deceived, and that sin was the result, he said it in context of women learning quietly and submissively and not teaching men or have authority over them. (See 1. Timothy 2:11-14) Here is why; the woman is not supposed to take charge over and lead her husband like Eve did when she ate the fruit from the forbidden tree and gave it to Adam. God held Adam responsible and not Eve, who was supposed to lead and protect his wife Eve by warning her not to disobey God's command not to eat from the forbidden tree. Instead, Adam cowardly blamed it on the woman God gave him. (See Genesis 3:1-12) As you can see, the issue of women, who have it in them to want to control and take charge over men, is as old as Adam and Eve!
