So many of these televangelists/prosperity preachers are as the Bible says, well trained in greed and they lure unstable gullible Christians into sin. (See 2. Peter 2:14) They do the opposite of what the scriptures teaches, and exactly what the Word warns us against, they will do. When 2. Corinthians 9:7 NLT says that you must each decide in your heart how much to give and don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure, these televangelists, to the contrary, pressure you to give, by telling you to go quickly to the phone and give your $1000 money seed while the anointing is still around, or otherwise you will lose your breakthrough blessing! And when 2. Peter 2:3 NLT says; “in their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money,” that's precisely what they do, by coming up with all sorts of “seed” offerings that God so-called revealed to them with the promise of a special blessing or breakthrough in your situation, like; New Year offerings, resurrection seed offering, healing offerings, prophetic seed offerings, Passover offerings, atonement offerings, financial breakthrough offerings, sin and redemption offerings, 777 offerings, $58 monthly seed, Psalm 71.21 pledge with the promise of increase and greatness, boomerang or turnaround seed, a $1000, $500, $300, $100 envelop seed that is usually tied to getting a prophetic word, and the list of deception goes on and on. These false televangelists/prosperity preachers take advantage of desperate people’s need for God’s resolution in their lives. They tell them to keep giving, and even to put their gift on their credit card if they don't have the money right there and then, and thereby causing them to sin. You may think why in the world are people still giving money to these greedy liars?
