Being flirtatious with women is the same as being sexually impure and it has gotten many pastors and ministers to fall from grace and their ministries destroyed. It is as Jesus said, “anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Matthew 5:28 NLT Flirting is an inappropriate sinful behavior, that Wikipedia so perfectly describes as involving “suggestive body language that can include flicking the hair, eye contact, brief touching, open stances, proximity etc. Verbal communication of interest can include the vocal tone, such as pace, volume, intonation. Challenges (teasing, questions, qualifying, feigned disinterest) serve to increase tension, test intention and congruity.” In almost all cases flirting ends up leading to committing the real act of adultery. The Bible clearly warns; “Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.” Ephesians 5:3 NLT And, “have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires.” Colossians 3:5 NLT
