Feast In The Presence Of Enemies | Institute of Love

In Psalm 23:5 NLT, King David said to God; “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.” In other words, even through all the persecutions and murder plots David had to endure from his enemies, God was still providing, protecting, and blessing him! This passage can also be applied to Joseph who was severely abused and sold as a slave by his evil brothers to traders who took him to Egypt. After God provided a way to make Joseph become Pharao's second in command ruler of Egypt, he told his brothers; “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good.” Genesis 50:20 NLT Yes, even though our great enemy, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking to devour us (See 1. Peter 5:8), God at other hand, prepares a feast table of provision, protection, and blessings in Satan's presence for us!
