A couple a days ago, I was watching a live video clip from a popular (heavy) metal band that has been labeled as a Christian band, where one of the members was dropping the F-bomb like there is no tomorrow. Talking to the crowd, he was going like; thank you guys for f... coming to this f... show tonight, you guys are f... great, thank you for f... supporting this f... band, here is a f... new song from our just released new f... album, I want all of you f... people to get into this f... one! I went what??? Are you for real dude? Don't you know that the Bible says; Let no corrupt and filthy language proceed out of your mouth? And that everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them? (See Ephesians 4:29 and Colossians 3:8) Out of the same mouth should not proceed blessing and cursing at the same time! (See James 3:10)
