“So this is the situation: Most of the people of Israel have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly. A few have—the ones God has chosen—but the hearts of the rest were hardened.” Romans 11:7 NLT This boils down to what Jesus said; “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14 NLT I am extremely honored and privileged to have been chosen by God to become His beloved child, destined to live in eternity with Him. “For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him.” Romans 8:29-30 NLT I have also been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. (See Titus 1:1) Therefore, “I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those God has chosen.” 2. Timothy 2:10 NLT In closing I would like to say this dear brothers and sisters, I know that God loves you and has chosen you to be His own people! (See 1. Thessalonians 1:4) Therefore work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. (See 2. Peter 1:10)
