Twisted Leadership | Institute of Love

There is so much of that going on in the churches, where the pastors and leaders are too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary (poor) people and serve them (see Romans 12:16), but instead these church leaders give only special attention, kindness, favor, and the good front seats to those who have money, are dressed in fancy clothing, and wear expensive jewelry. (See James 4:1-4) These pastors and leaders of these churches are clearly not in the ministry to serve, but they do it only for the money. Their sermons are always about the same old clever lies (see 2. Peter 2:3) which are that you must pay tithes, give offerings, and sow all sorts of breakthrough seeds to them in order to get your mighty financial, healing, and restoration blessing. Essentially, you have to buy your so-called miracle! These pastors and leaders are turning whole families away from the truth with these false teachings. (See Titus 1:11) This selfish behavior totally contradicts what Jesus said about what true godly leadership is supposed to look like; “Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:26-28 NLT
