Valentino and Valentina are a married Christian couple, whose names have been derived from Saint Valentine's Day, commonly known as Valentine's Day, which is celebrated in many countries around the world each year on February 14.
St. Valentine's Day began as a liturgical celebration of one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus, and has since evolved into an occasion in which lovers express their love for each other by presenting roses and flowers, offering heart-shaped chocolate candy and greeting cards.
This is the time of the year that love is in the air! At least that is what this society seems to visualize, a type of a passionate romanticized love, which is nothing more than a counterfeit, worldly, perverted type of love, hyped up and fueled by the commercial machine.
Valentino and Valentina understands, through the Bible, that God is the author of true love, romance, marriage, and sex!
They say the best gift a spouse can receive on Valentine’s Day is the reality that this day is one among many in which love is shown from husband to wife and wife to husband.
Here is how they break it down:
Valentino says that his wife Valentina is a worthy wife. She is a joy and a crown. (See Proverbs 12:4 NLT).
She has a beauty that comes from within, an unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, [is not loudmouthed] which is so precious to God. She trusts God and accepts my authority as husband. (See 1. Peter 3:1-6 NLT).
He also says that Valentina is like a fruitful vine, flourishing in his home. (See Psalm 128:3 NLT).
Valentino says he only shares his love with his wife (see Proverbs 5:15 NLT), and that she is a fountain of blessing to him. Herejoices in her and calls her a loving doe and a graceful deer. Valentino says that his wife's breasts satisfies him always, and that he is always captivated by her love. (See Proverbs 5:18-20 NLT).
Valentino says that his wife does not deprive him from sexual intimacy with her (see 1. Corinthians 7:3-7 NLT), and that she respects him. (See Ephesians 5:33 NLT).
According to Valentino, God has given him an understanding wife. (See Proverbs 19:14 NLT). He found a treasure in his wife and therefore he receives favor from God. (See Proverbs 18:22 NLT).
Valentino says that his wife is worth more than precious rubies. He says he can trust her and that she greatly enriches his life. He also says that she will not hinder him but help him all her life. (See Proverbs 31:10-12 NLT).
Valentina, at the other hand, says the following of her husband Valentino: He really loves me and never treats me harshly. (See Colossians 3:18-19 NLT).
Valentina says that Valentino honors her and treats her with understanding. She says that Valentino knows that if he does not treat her as he should, his prayers will not be heard. (See 1. Peter 3:7 NLT).
Valentino is gentle, peace loving, exhibits self-control and is not one who is greedy for money (see 1. Timothy 3:2-5 NLT), and he does not deprive me from sexual intimacy. He gives the authority over his body to me. (See 1. Corinthians 7:3-7 NLT). Valentino always loves me as he loves his own body. (See Ephesians 5:25-33 NLT).
Finally, Valentina says that her husband Valentino likes to praise her, saying things to her like: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” (See Proverbs 31:28-31 NLT).
