The fast spreading and wide acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle is one of the signs that we are living in the last days before the return of Jesus Christ, who said that when He comes back it will be as in the days of Lot, who lived in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah which was saturated with gay people. (See Luke 17:20-37) Jesus also said that in those days “many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.” Matthew 24:10-12 NLT That is precisely what is happening in these last days; that many so-called Christian prophets, pastors, and ministers are deceiving many people by telling them that you can be a Christian and at the same time live the homosexual lifestyle or be in a same-sex marriage, and on top of that saying that you will definitely go to Heaven! Many of these fallen ministers are the ones who are now betraying and hating the true Christians, who are being urged by Jesus to endure till the end and continue to preach the Good News about the Kingdom (See Matthew 24:13-14) which includes the following message; “Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1. Corinthians 6:9-11 NLT
