What All Disciples Of Jesus Christ Should Know (May 9, 2013)

Whether you just came into the family of God by being born again or you have been in ministry for years, every disciple of Jesus Christ should know how much He loves us. Jesus showed that when He prayed; “O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me. I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.” (John 17:25-26 NLT)

You are so loved and accepted by your Heavenly Father, who sent His only Son Jesus Christ to take your place and die for all your sins. (John 3:16)

Now you don’t have to be insecure anymore, lacking self-worth, comparing yourself with others, trying to be important, competing with others, or being jealous or envious of anyone!

You don’t have to be frustrated and angry, feeling isolated and unwanted anymore.

You don’t need to go around trying to impress people so they will like, love, or want you anymore.

You don't have to earn God's love and approval through your accomplishments.

No, you don’t have to find your identity in what you do (in ministry or career), in what you possess, or in the way you look.

You don’t have to be driven anymore for the need to succeed and use people along the way as objects to accomplish your goal.

No, you don’t have to lack self-esteem anymore, because you now know how endlessly and unconditionally your Heavenly Father loves you! You are being led by His Spirit and have joy and you can serve and bless others.

Yes, all disciples of Jesus Christ should know that; Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and from Jesus Christ—the Son of the Father—will continue to be with us who live in truth and love. (2. John 1:3 NLT)

You are saved and cared for by your Heavenly Father who loves you and said; I will never fail you.
I will never abandon you. (Hebrews 13:5 NLT)
