Set In Your Ways | Institute of Love

As a counselor, I have heard Christian single men saying that they prefer not to marry middle aged women because they are too set in their ways and that's why, they say, so many women in church cannot find a man. True or not, the reality is that God never wants us Christians, who are the clay in His hands, to be set in our own ways, but allow Him, who is the potter, to form us the way He wants! (See Isaiah 64:8) We cannot be like the world who says; “this is the way I am.” That's why “you should not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2 NLT And by the way, I am a firm believer that if God has meant for you to marry, you will get married! God Himself will bring you and your partner together and join you in marriage! (See Matthew 19:6)
