THE BIG ELECTION PICTURE! | By Edwin Christiaan

The fight for America is not against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (See Ephesians 6:12)

There is a spirit battle raging in America right now, as Satan, who disguises himself as an angel of light, and his servants, who also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, are seeking to steal, kill and destroy this nation! (See 2. Corinthians 11:14-15, John 10:10)

Satan uses counterfeit power, signs and miracles, and every kind of evil deception to fool the people! (See 2. Thessalonians 2:9-10)

One of the most effective evil spirits that Satan is using to deceive the masses is the Jezebel Spirit! The Jezebel Spirit manifests itself in women, who are being used by Satan to emasculate men, as they usurp and disregard their God-given authority. The result is the destruction of the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, replacing it with the promotion and legalization of homosexual lifestyle and marriage. In doing so, they are also inadvertently supporting the LGBT agenda in their fight for transgenders to have the freedom to choose whichever public bathroom they want to use!

The Jezebel Spirit is everywhere; in the government, our education system, the entertainment world, and yes, in the church!

One of the key people that Satan is using to lead America on the path of total moral destruction is Hillary Clinton! But God will put a stop to Hillary’s march to the White House, by instead electing Donald Trump to become the next president of the United States, and in doing so, bring an end to the reign of this wicked Jezebel Spirit over America!

Donald Trump, like John the Baptist, will be a man with the spirit and power of Elijah, and God will use him to bring back manhood to America, causing the hearts of the fathers to turn to their children, and the rebellious to accept the wisdom of the godly! (See Luke 1:17)

LOOKING FOR THE HUSBAND TO DIE FOR! | Edwin Christiaan

Christian women dream of having the ideal godly husband!

What these women are actually looking for is a man that God knew in advance, and chose to become like His Son, Jesus Christ! (See Romans 8:29)

It is man who loves his wife unconditionally, just as Christ loves the church. He provides leadership to his wife the way Christ does to His church, not by domineering, but by cherishing.

It is a man who does not reject or hate himself, but is full of God’s love! He knows that a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself! His words evoke his wife’s beauty.

Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her! He will make her look good, as she radiates with God’s holiness! (See Ephesians 5:22-30)

It is a man who loves and honors his wife and never treats her harshly! Instead, he treats her with understanding and as an equal partner in God’s gift of new life. He knows, that as he treats her as he should, his prayers will not be hindered! (See Colossians 3:19, 1. Peter 3:7)

It is a man who fulfills his wife’s sexual needs, and gives authority over his body to her! (See 1. Corinthians 7:3-4)

It is a man who thinks about his earthly responsibilities and how to please his wife! (See 1. Corinthians 7:33)

RIGHTEOUS SEX | By Edwin Christiaan

The apostle Paul taught that if a man thinks he is treating his fiancée improperly by giving in to his passion and having sex with her, he should marry her as he wishes. It is not a sin. In other words, if they can’t control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. Because it’s better to marry than to burn with lust! Otherwise it becomes a sin to have sex without being married!
(See 1. Corinthians 7:9, 36-38)

But marriage must never become a distraction to one’s spiritual walk. You always need to be with someone who encourages you spiritually, and not someone who will distract you and pull you away from God!

Because, how can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can light live with darkness? How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness?

Therefore, you should never team up with and marry someone who is an unbeliever!!! (See 2. Corinthians 6:14-16)

ITS HAPPENING JUST AS THE BIBLE PREDICTED! By Edwin Christiaan

The Bible speaks about the dangers of the last days, where, among other things, vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth! (See 2. Timothy 3:6-7)

How amazingly true this is! Over the years, we have seen many such women go from one prophetic meeting to another, without their lives changing for the good and them becoming godly!

Instead of following Biblical truth, these women no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They are being tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching, and they are easily influenced when people try to trick them with lies so clever, they sound like the truth!

These women follow their own desires, and they are only looking for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They reject the truth, and chase after myths!
Our modern-day myth include prophetic teachings, revelations about how to get into your promised land, when and how you will get your “Boaz” husband, big money blessings coming your way, promises of getting to live in big mansions, and how you will be attaining a prominent leadership position! (See 2. Timothy 4:3-4, Ephesians 4:14)

HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKS AND ANSWERS! By Edwin Christiaan

When you are a chosen child of God, He is working in you through His Holy Spirit, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him! (See Philippians 2:13)

It is the Holy Spirit that helps you in your weakness. For example, you don’t know what God wants you to pray for, but the Father, who knows all hearts, knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for you in harmony with God’s own will, causing you to pray and only ask for things that He desires for you! (See Romans 8:26-27)

That’s why it says that we can be confident that God hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him!  And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for!  (See 1. John 5:14-15)

Now we also understand, what Jesus meant when He said: “ You didn’t choose Me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name!”

THE BATTLE FOR BUILDING THE WALL! By Edwin Christiaan

Nehemiah, an Israelite living in exile, was a cupbearer to the king of Persia. One day he was informed, that Jerusalem was in a state of despair with its people poor and the city walls in ruins. Upon hearing this, Nehemiah became filled with sorrow and felt led to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the city walls. God confirmed Nehemiah by giving him favor with the king of Persia to travel to Jerusalem. The king gave Nehemiah passages and supplies to help with the construction of the wall. (See Nehemiah 1:1-11)

When Nehemiah got to Jerusalem, he told the people how the gracious hand of God had been upon him, giving him favor with the king to build the wall.

Then the people of Israel replied at once, “Yes, let’s rebuild the wall!” (See Nehemiah 2:10)
But, Nehemiah encountered great opposition from on all sides of the enemies of Judah for his plans to rebuild the wall. The Samaritans, Ammonites, Arabs and Philistines, they all came against Nehemiah!

Here is a sample of the opposition that Nehemiah had to endure before and during the rebuilding of the city walls of Jerusalem, in his own words:

“But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite official heard of my arrival, they were very displeased that someone had come to help the people of Israel.” Nehemiah 2:10 NLT

“But when Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem the Arab heard of our plan, they scoffed contemptuously. What are you doing? Are you rebelling against the king?” they asked. Nehemiah 2:19 NLT

“Sanballat was very angry when he learned that we were rebuilding the wall. He flew into a rage and mocked the Jews, saying in front of his friends and the Samarian army officers, “What does this bunch of poor, feeble Jews think they’re doing? Do they think they can build the wall in a single day by just offering a few sacrifices? Do they actually think they can make something of stones from a rubbish heap—and charred ones at that?”
Tobiah the Ammonite, who was standing beside him, remarked, “That stone wall would collapse if even a fox walked along the top of it!” Nehemiah 4:1-3 NLT

“But when Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs, Ammonites, and Ashdodites heard that the work was going ahead and that the gaps in the wall of Jerusalem were being repaired, they were furious.  They all made plans to come and fight against Jerusalem and throw us into confusion.” Nehemiah 4:7-8 NLT

“Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies found out that I had finished rebuilding the wall and that no gaps remained—though we had not yet set up the doors in the gates.  So Sanballat and Geshem sent a message asking me to meet them at one of the villages in the plain of Ono.
But I realized they were plotting to harm me, so I replied by sending this message to them: “I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?”
Four times they sent the same message, and each time I gave the same reply.  The fifth time, Sanballat’s servant came with an open letter in his hand, and this is what it said:
“There is a rumor among the surrounding nations, and Geshem tells me it is true, that you and the Jews are planning to rebel and that is why you are building the wall. According to his reports, you plan to be their king. He also reports that you have appointed prophets in Jerusalem to proclaim about you, ‘Look! There is a king in Judah!’
“You can be very sure that this report will get back to the king, so I suggest that you come and talk it over with me.” I replied, “There is no truth in any part of your story. You are making up the whole thing.”
They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work.” Nehemiah 6:1-9 NLT

“Later I went to visit Shemaiah son of Delaiah and grandson of Mehetabel, who was confined to his home. He said, “Let us meet together inside the Temple of God and bolt the doors shut. Your enemies are coming to kill you tonight.”
But I replied, “Should someone in my position run from danger? Should someone in my position enter the Temple to save his life? No, I won’t do it!”  I realized that God had not spoken to him, but that he had uttered this prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.  They were hoping to intimidate me and make me sin. Then they would be able to accuse and discredit me.”  Nehemiah 6:10-13 NLT

Nehemiah and his people finished the wall in just 52 days after they had begun.  When their enemies and the surrounding nations heard about it, they were frightened and humiliated. They realized this work had been done with the help of God! (See Nehemiah 6:15-16)

The moral of this awesome story is what the apostle Paul said: If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” Romans 8:31 NLT

IT IS GOD WHO CHOOSES OUR DESTINY! By Edwin Christiaan

“The Lord has made everything for His own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster!” Proverbs 16:4 NLT

For example, God told the hard-hearted evil king of Egypt, Pharaoh, who went after the Israelites to kill them, but instead ended up drowning with his whole army in the Red Sea, the following: “I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying My power in you and to spread My fame throughout the earth!” (See Romans 9:17 NLT)

“This message shows that God chooses people according to His own purposes!” Romans 9:11 NLT

That’s why the Bible says that, “God chooses to show mercy to some, and He chooses to harden the hearts of others so they refuse to listen!” Romans 9:18 NLT

Now we understand why Jesus said: You didn’t choose Me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit!” John 15:16 NLT

So, it is God who decides to show mercy to whom He chooses! You can neither choose it nor work for it! (See Romans 9:16)
