“Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; 
I will pay them back,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 NLT  This is also what happened to Moses when he was criticized by his own sister Miriam and brother Aaron because he had married a certain woman. They said, “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses? Hasn’t he spoken through us, too?” But the Lord heard them and became very angry with them and said; so why were you not afraid to criticize my servant Moses? Right after God struck Miriam with leprosy. When Aaron saw what had happened to his sister, he cried out to Moses, “Oh, my master! Please don’t punish us for this sin we have so foolishly committed. Don’t let her be like a stillborn baby, already decayed at birth.” So Moses cried out to the Lord, “O God, I beg you, please heal her!” (See Numbers 12:1-16) Yes, it is indeed as the Lord said; I will take revenge: 
I will pay them back! Therefore, NEVER TAKE REVENGE just like Moses didn't either!!!

Do Not Tithe! | Institute of Love

Churches who obligate and force their members to tithe 10% of their income are basically stealing from them, since they gain the money illegitimately by deceitfully teaching that God implemented tithing for all believers. That is why these churches will never tell their members what the apostle Paul taught, and that is that: “You must each decide in your heart how much to give.” 2. Corinthians 9:7 NLT and that: “On every Lord’s Day, each of you should put aside some amount of money in relation to what you have earned and save it for this offering.” 1. Corinthians 16:2 NLT  Jesus Christ set us free from the Law, which includes the law of tithing: “He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations.” Ephesians 2:15 NLT  Therefore, do not allow a pastor to tell you how much money you should give to his church, whether it is 10% of your gross income or any other amount. Don’t let any pastor tell you that you are robbing God if you don’t tithe. If a pastor tells you that 10% of your gross income belongs to God, do not listen to him! Do not allow any pastor to tell you that there is a bottom or minimum where you can start giving your money to his church, which is actually a crafty way to say to you that you at least have to tithe ten percent of your income. Don’t allow any pastor to tell you to disclose your finances. God bless you!!!

We are free from the guilt and bondage of the Old Testament Law of Tithing! There has never been such requirement for the New Testament believer! This is what the Bible says about how we should handle our money. 
First of all, the decision making in how we handle our giving should come from being led by what God tells us individually through the Holy Spirit. As believers in Jesus Christ, we ought to be controlled by His Spirit and God’s Word in regards to how much money we should give, and through His Word, we learn about the promises and rewards our generous giving awards us. No church should ever make us feel guilty about the amount of money we give, or try to control it! Here we go: The apostle Paul, who himself at one point was living according to the Old Testament law of tithing, now writes, after being born-again, in the New Testament: “You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “Godly people give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will never be forgotten.” 2. Corinthians 9:7-11 NLT  In other words, whether you are able to give 5% of your income, or at other times you may be able to give 20, 30, or even 100%, the point is that you are giving the appropriate amount of money the Holy Spirit directs you to give and God will bless you for doing so. This is how Paul instructed the Christians in Jerusalem to give each week: “On every Lord’s Day, each of you should put aside some amount of money in relation to what you have earned and save it for this offering.” 1. Corinthians 16:2 NLT  Now, when it comes to who to give money to, we
first and foremost need to take care of our own family, making sure they have food, clothing, and shelter. If we don’t, according to the Bible, we are “worse than an unbeliever.” (See 1. Timothy 5:8) As a believer, we each have a duty to support the church we join, which pays for the pastor, the elders, evangelists, teachers and other ministry services. “Elders who do their work well should be paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching. For the Scripture says, “Do not keep an ox from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!” 1. Timothy 5:17-18 NLT  “Those who are taught the word of God should help their teachers by paying them.” Galatians 6:6 NLT  We should also support missions financially as you can read in Romans 15:25-27, and we 
need to be willing to help a brother or sister in need. “Suppose you see a brother or sister who needs food or clothing, and you say, “Well, good-bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat well” — but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?” James 2:15-16 NLT

Stop Tithing! | Institute of Love

The Bible never ever commanded New Testament believers to tithe 10% of their monetary income! As a matter of fact, there is no command or example in Scripture that has anything to do with tithing money! It is very hard for those who are tithers to admit they are wrong and have been fooled. Many are bound by guilt and fear of being cursed or punished if they don't tithe! But, if they still insist on tithing, then they should do it the way the only 3 people or groups of people in the Bible have done it. All these people had money and some lots of it, and yet they did not tithe one cent of it! Let's start with Abraham, who only tithed ONCE in his entire life. That one time, he did not tithe from his wealth or normal income, but of the spoils of war. (See Genesis 14:20) So, to try to insist that Abraham's one time tithe on the spoils of war means that every Christian must give 10% of their regular income every month throughout their entire life is absolutely ridiculous. Next would be the Israelites living under the Old Testament law of Moses who had agricultural products and livestock. These were farmers and ranchers who had to bring the 10th portion of their crops and livestock ONCE A YEAR to the Levites as stated in Malachi 3:10 NLT: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” If Malachi 3:10 applies to the New Testament believers, then the entire Old Testament also applies to us, and so would the law system of blessing or cursing based on behavior rather than Christ's work on the cross! Last, but not least, there were the Pharisees who were Old Testament Jews, living under the Old Testament laws, whom Jesus rebuked, saying: “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your MINT AND ANISE AND CUMMIN, but you ignore the more important aspects of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things. Blind guides! You strain your water so you won’t accidentally swallow a gnat, but you swallow a camel!” Matthew 23:23 NLT  You see, tithing was never about money and never meant for the church, the body of Christ! Under the New Covenant, the Bible gives clear instructions to the New Testament born-again believer on giving, when it says: “You must each decide in your heart how much to give.” 2. Corinthians 9:7 NLT and “On every Lord’s Day, each of you should put aside some amount of money in relation to what you have earned and save it for this offering.” 1. Corinthians 16:2 NLT  STOP TITHING!!! IT WAS NEVER MEANT FOR YOU, THE NEW TESTAMENT BELIEVER!!! It's a false doctrine!

Division About Tithing | Institute of Love

We should not get involved in foolish discussions with people about spiritual genealogies or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws, like the Old Testament law of tithing, which was never meant for the New Testament believer in Jesus Christ! These things are useless and a waste of time and only leads to division. Titus was told that if people are causing divisions among him, to give a first and second warning. After that, he should have nothing more to do with them. For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them. (See Titus 3:9-11) You see; “Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.” Ephesians 2:14-15 NLT 

What Jesus Did With The Law | Institute of Love

Jesus said; “I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.” Matthew 5:17 NLT  It is especially important to note how the word “abolish” is used here. In this context, “abolish” is set in opposition to “fulfill.” Christ came “...not to abolish, but to fulfill.” Jesus did not come to this earth for the purpose of acting as an opponent of the law. His goal was not to prevent its fulfillment. Rather, He revered it, loved it, obeyed it, and brought it to fruition. He fulfilled the law’s prophetic utterances regarding Himself (Luke 24:44). Christ fulfilled the demands of the Mosaic law, which called for perfect obedience under threat of a “curse” (see Galatians 3:10, 13). That is why it says; “For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.” Ephesians 2:14-15 NLT  That is the reason why the Jewish believers of the first century church NEVER were commanded to teach the gentiles to obey the Old Testament law. In the New King James translation of the book of James, chapter 2, verse 10, it clearly states: “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.” And in Romans 7:6 NLT it says: “But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.” In other words, we are no longer under the Law, but under God’s Grace! The apostle Paul also puts it this way: “He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.” 2. Corinthians 3:6 NLT  So, why are we then keeping an Old Testament law of tithing that was NEVER meant for the New Testament believer to begin with? Are we so deceived?

Campaigning Against Tithing | Institute of Love

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.” Galatians 5:1, 4 NLT What is important, is that we place our faith in Christ Jesus that expresses itself in love for Him! (See Galatians 5:6) If Jesus Christ has set us free from the bondage of being under the law of Moses, why are so many Christians keeping a fabricated law of tithing 10% of their income to the church and thinking they are going to be blessed by doing so, when it clearly says in the Word of God that when we keep the law we are cut off from Jesus Christ and have fallen away from God’s grace? It is no wonder that so many Christians are seriously struggling financially and in other areas of their lives despite tithing faithfully to their churches. They do not experience any window of heaven being opened with blessings being poured out on them. It is interesting to see that the so-called big time pastors, who are teaching this false doctrine of tithing, are the ones who are benefitting from you tithing money to them. They get away with living lavishly and buying anything they want. Since they do not trust God for taking care of them and their ministry, they are banking on the secure tithe income coming from you. That is why they have every reason to keep this deceptive tithing message going, as they falsely promise those who tithe to them that God will abundantly bless them financially. They absolutely hate it when anyone speaks against it. Many of these pastors are crafty businessmen, who, instead of taking good care of the flock and feeding them, are busy buying and selling properties and merchandizing and selling the Word of God for profit. It is not these false teachers, who gladly wants to tell you how much you should give to them, but it is the Bible that truly teaches us how to give our money and be blessed, when it says: “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” 2. Corinthians 9:7-9 NLT “Give in proportion to what you have. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. Of course, I don’t mean your giving should make life easy for others and hard for yourselves. I only mean that there should be some equality. Right now you have plenty and can help those who are in need. Later, they will have plenty and can share with you when you need it. In this way, things will be equal.” 2. Corinthians 8:11-14 NLT
