JESUS DID NOT GO TO HELL TO FIGHT SATAN!

Jesus had no need to go to Hell to fight Satan for the keys to Heaven, as some falsely teach! It is a totally ridiculous lying doctrine! How do we know? Because the Bible says that when Jesus was about to die on the cross, He said, “It is finished!” (See John 19:30) Jesus’ suffering ended the moment He died! The payment for sin was paid! He then waited three days, as He predicted for the resurrection of His body (See John 2:19) and His return to glory in His ascension!

Jesus, after He died, went to the blessed side of death, unlike what happened to the evil rich man as described in the parable of the “Rich man and Lazarus,” who, when he died, went to the bad side of death, which is Hell. The rich man was tormented and in anguish by the flames. But poor Lazarus when he died went like Jesus to the blessed side of death, which is Heaven, also called Paradise! Lazarus was carried by the angels to sit beside Abraham at the heavenly banquet and was comforted. (See Luke 16:19-31)

It for this reason that Jesus replied to the thief hanging beside Him on the cross who said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom,” the following: “I assure you, today you will be with Me in paradise!” (See Luke 23:42-43)
In Conclusion
Jesus did not have to fight Satan in Hell for anything! Jesus' death on the cross was His ultimate victory!
Satan has never possessed any keys to determine who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell. It is God and God alone who have the power over death and Hell!
Jesus said:
“I’ll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill you and then throw you into hell. Yes, He’s the one to fear.” Luke 12:5 NLT
“I am the living One. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.” Revelation 1:18 NLT
Only Jesus Christ has the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven! That’s why Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no one can come to the Father except by Him! (See John 14:6)
“He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities! He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross!” Colossians 2:15 NLT
