FOR ALL THOSE CHRISTIANS LIVING IN FORNICATION

According to the dictionary, fornication means ‘sexual intercourse between a man and woman not married to each other.’

The Bible says, “But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.” Ephesians 5:3 NKJV

In other words, God does not approve of a lifestyle of living together and having sex without being married.

Jesus said to the woman He met at the well, “You don’t have a husband— for you have had five husbands, and you aren’t even married to the man you’re living with now.” John 4:17-18 NLT

Jesus was making it obvious to this woman what He thought about her lifestyle of living in the sin of fornication!

It for this reason the Scriptures say: “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.” Hebrews 13:4 NKJV

FEARING BEING LONELY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

Being alone can sting a lot, the deep burning pain in your chest when you wake up that never seems to go away. The struggle whether this is the will of God or not for you to be alone for the rest of your life or maybe one day to get married?

The traditional society says, ‘Unless you have a spouse and a family, you can’t possibly be a legitimate person.’ While the modern society says, ‘Unless you have sex and romance and love, you can’t possibly be fulfilled.’

But Christians know that God has a purpose for their lives, whether to be in marriage or to stay single as the apostle Paul taught;

“But I wish everyone were single, just as I am. Yet each person has a special gift from God, of one kind or another.” 1. Corinthians 7:7 NLT

That is why not being married for a Christian believer does not mean something is missing. On the contrary, the Bible says that;

“An unmarried man can spend his time doing the Lord’s work and thinking how to please Him.”

And;

“In the same way, a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit.” 1. Corinthians 7:32+34 NLT

WHEN YOU ARE MARRIED TO AN ASSIGNMENT | By Edwin Christiaan

This is when you are married to someone who is appointed by the Devil to obstruct and destroy your walk with God!

For the man, this means: You are married to a woman, who is not submissive to the will of Jesus Christ and His Word. Instead of helping you, she constantly hinders you from accomplishing God’s will. Instead of you leading her in God’s ways, she is taking charge over you; disrespecting your authority as her head, while leading you away from God. She is not humble and gentle, but likes to teach you how to treat her, and she will vex you until you give into her demands. You are in a constant power struggle with her, because she refuses to submit to you as God - through His Word - has purposed for her to do.

For the woman, this means: You are married to a man, who does not submit to the will of Jesus Christ and the Bible. Instead of loving you like Christ loves the church, he treats you harshly, and is unkind and abusive towards you. He does not honor you by speaking good things about you, but instead he looks at other women and lusts after them. He does not treat you with understanding, and he does not regard you as his equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Because of the way he treats you, God is not answering his prayers and therefore there is no blessing in your relationship with him. The marriage is stuck in a curse!

A BIBLICAL WORD TO WOMEN By Edwin Christiaan

God called women to be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to Him! (See 1. Peter 3:4)
God did NOT call women to be elders or pastors, having authority over men! Why? Because the Bible clearly says that a church leader MUST be a man! (See 1. Timothy 3:2)
For this reason, the apostle Paul taught that women should learn quietly and submissively and that they should not teach men or have authority over them, but instead listen to them quietly. (See 1. Timothy 2:11-12)
That is why the older godly women were instructed to train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. And in doing so, these younger women would not bring shame on the word of God! (See Titus 2:4-5)
It further confirms this in 1. Peter 3:1-6 and Ephesians 5:24, when it says that women who are married must accept the authority of their husbands and submit to them in everything, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, their godly lives will speak to them without any words. Their husbands will be won over by observing their pure and reverent lives. Women should put their trust in God and do what is right without fear of what their husbands might do!
Women are not called to associate with or be married to anyone who - even if he claims to be a believer - indulges in sexual sin, is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. She should not even eat with such a person! (See 1. Corinthians 5:11)
Women should not draw attention to themselves by being concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry or clothing. They should be modest in their appearance and wear decent and appropriate clothing. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do! (See 1. Peter 3:3, 1. Timothy 2: 9-10)
