WHEN YOU ARE MARRIED TO AN ASSIGNMENT | By Edwin Christiaan

This is when you are married to someone who is appointed by the Devil to obstruct and destroy your walk with God!

For the man, this means: You are married to a woman, who is not submissive to the will of Jesus Christ and His Word. Instead of helping you, she constantly hinders you from accomplishing God’s will. Instead of you leading her in God’s ways, she is taking charge over you; disrespecting your authority as her head, while leading you away from God. She is not humble and gentle, but likes to teach you how to treat her, and she will vex you until you give into her demands. You are in a constant power struggle with her, because she refuses to submit to you as God - through His Word - has purposed for her to do.

For the woman, this means: You are married to a man, who does not submit to the will of Jesus Christ and the Bible. Instead of loving you like Christ loves the church, he treats you harshly, and is unkind and abusive towards you. He does not honor you by speaking good things about you, but instead he looks at other women and lusts after them. He does not treat you with understanding, and he does not regard you as his equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Because of the way he treats you, God is not answering his prayers and therefore there is no blessing in your relationship with him. The marriage is stuck in a curse!

RIGHTEOUS SEX | By Edwin Christiaan

The apostle Paul taught that if a man thinks he is treating his fiancée improperly by giving in to his passion and having sex with her, he should marry her as he wishes. It is not a sin. In other words, if they can’t control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. Because it’s better to marry than to burn with lust! Otherwise it becomes a sin to have sex without being married!
(See 1. Corinthians 7:9, 36-38)

But marriage must never become a distraction to one’s spiritual walk. You always need to be with someone who encourages you spiritually, and not someone who will distract you and pull you away from God!

Because, how can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can light live with darkness? How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness?

Therefore, you should never team up with and marry someone who is an unbeliever!!! (See 2. Corinthians 6:14-16)
