The apostle Paul said at one point;
“Yes,
and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me
safely into his heavenly Kingdom.” (2. Timothy 4:18 NLT) What
Paul was talking about was that he has “been
beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion,
endured sleepless nights, and gone without food.”

Corinthians 6:5 NLT)
He
also testified that he serves God whether people honor him or despise
him, whether they slander him or praise him, or whether they call him
an imposter. (See 2. Corinthians 6:8) Here is another powerful
statement that Paul made: “We
are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are
perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never
abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.”
(2. Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT)
This
tells me that, “if
God is for us, who can ever be against us?” (Romans 8:31 NLT) and
indeed that “no
weapon formed against you shall prosper,” (Isaiah 54:17 NKJV) Yes,
if God is for you, no matter what the devil tries, he will never be
